The never ending sentences
suffering the consequences
and a tear rolls down my cheek,
it never was this easy before
like plucking leaves from a burning tree
continuing the plague,
and the silence that calls out to me
These conflicting interests
both burning to get this,
like a flavour of desire
my fire;
you dropped a waterfall on me
entrapped within infinity,
it seems so shallow but my heart is sinking
like laughter,
you paid my mind to carry on thinking;
That it was my turn to win,
my turn for sin;
My time to rhyme
but time stopped.
It's commissioned sadness to me,
with broken eyes and
bleeding dreams
and whisper of desire disrupted
like paranoia making you cautious
making us think in proportions
like eating your minds thought abortions
swallowing sanity,
break the bread to make you whole;
get in touch with the soul,
and eat it.
